The Darling Ladies
Stephanie - Maid of HonorI met Stephanie my sophomore year at Georgia State on the first day of sorority recruitment. Stephanie was the very first girl I introduced to ZTA, and while I could go on and on about how fate brought us together, she is much more than just my Zeta little sister. Together we've traveled to Florida, Indiana, and New York and have shared countless hours of laughter and chats over our special “teocha dates”. Currently residing in NYC, I can’t imagine anyone else I would rather have by my side on my wedding day.
FUN FACT: Stephanie is the only person I know that can circle a room while dancing and do it in style! |
Amanda - BridesmaidAmanda is my cousin, and well, I have known her for has long as I can remember. Some of my fondest childhood memories of us include playing at our grandma’s house, riding the waves in Longboat Key, and modeling our matching outfits for our photo-crazy family. She brings so much happiness and laughter to my life, and I will always consider her more of a sister than a cousin.
FUN FACT: When Amanda was a child she saw Santa Clause sneak across her living room, and she has the impersonation to prove it! |
Brooke - BridesmaidZTA, psychology, and bear fur brought Brooke and I together. We met my junior year at Georgia State when Brooke joined Zeta, but it wasn't until we had psychology classes together where Brooke would eat spaghetti during lectures that our friendship became undeniable. Always the positive spirit, Brooke can instantly put me in a good mood, and I feel so blessed to have her as a lifelong friend.
FUN FACT: I introduced Brooke to her fiancé, Canon, and they're getting hitched next June! |
Melissa - BridesmaidMelissa and I met at Georgia State through ZTA, and I knew our friendship was meant to be after an oh-so infamous Crush Party in 2010. Yes, it was love, and we have been singing along to 90’s pop songs and dancing nights away together ever since. One of the classiest ladies I know, she will always have a special place in my heart (especially when it come to her yummy sweets, this girl knows how to bake!).
FUN FACT: Melissa has been known to snooze in the most adorable matching pajamas. |
Cari - HostessI first met Cari back in 2007 shortly after I joined ZTA. Always ready for fun and new adventures, Mama Q is a friend I will always hold near and dear to my heart. Not only is she a fantastic organizer when it comes to planning our social calendar (something the O.C.D. side of me truly appreciates), but she’s a person I know I can depend on no matter what.
FUN FACT: Cari and I share a mutual love for cheap Mexican food and gas station candy! |
Christina - HostessMy world was forever changed, when Tiny Tina and I became Zeta twins in the fall of 2007. Sharing the same big sister, it’s safe to say Christina is my perfect other half. She’s the yin to my yang and without a doubt always putting a smile on my face with her crazy antics. Just a good ‘ole southern girl, she’s the most loyal friend you could ever ask for.
FUN FACT: Legend has it Christina was once the proud owner of an orange Old Navy performance fleece vest circa 1997! |
Laurel - HostessMy ZTA big sister and one of the first girls I met while going through sorority recruitment, Laurel and I quickly bonded over a common love of trashy VH1 reality shows (Rock of Love was our favorite!) and late night Art History study sessions together. But our friendship didn't stop there. Over the past 6 years she has brought so much joy to my life. She has the kindest heart and is the sweetest southern belle you ever will meet.
FUN FACT: Laurel may or may not be a real Disney Princess! |
Kendall - ReaderKendall and I met shortly after I began dating Jourdan, but she and Jourdan have known each other since their high school days at St. Pius. Kendall will always hold a special place in our hearts as the first host to our out-of-state travels when we visited her in Chicago back in 2011. Always up for a new adventure, she graciously entertained our outlandish touristy demands.
FUN FACT: She introduced Jourdan to his favorite fat kid food: Deep Dish Pizza! |
